“ I had probably one of the best dinners of my life here in mid July 2024. Four of us came in a same-day reservation on a Monday evening. We started with the “haunted room #2” which is basically a spicy margarita. The presentation is so cool, in a smoky box. Absolutely delicious. We started with a crab cake, and a tostada andaluza. The crab cake was super fresh, and the bread and tomatoes was equally as good. I appreciate the international flair to the menu. My main was the halibut special in the pomodoro sauce. It was equisite; flaky, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The others at my table all ordered the schnitzel, which they enjoyed. Service was excellent, drinks were excellent, and food was excellent. Don’t come, you will hate it. ”
“ Didn't stay here, just had dinner. AMAZING!!! I was blown away by the quality of the food, especially in a tourist town. The chicken piccata was the best I have ever had, and I'm picky. The sauce was actually tart, and not cut with too much butter (or cream.. yuck) like some places. Perfectly cooked. My mom's lobster pasta special was phenomenal. We cleaned our plates. We overheard our waitress talking to other customers and she has worked here for 40 years. That really says something about how well they must treat their staff. Excited to come back here next time I am in town! ”
“ Have been coming here for years, and we're never disappointed. Excellent food, great service, and a fair price. Note: This review was written prior to the new owners taking over. Their revised menu is of no interest, so we haven't tried their version on the inn. ”
“ Was there for dinner last night with my cousins. Each of us had a different meal--and each one was stupendous. The service matched the food! This is going on my "must visit" list for next trip (and every trip!) Way to go to new owners and staff. Don't forget to make a reservation. ”
“ I have now stayed here a couple of times and every time the service has been impeccable. We are always greeted by friendly staff when checking in and made to feel welcome. Usually we will come down to the Bar around 4pm and the atmosphere is great, everyone is chatting with each other and nothing is too much trouble for the bartenders. We have eaten at the OVI numerous times both at the bar and in the restaurant and each time the food has come in good time and always tastes wonderful, We were just up for thanksgiving and even though it was very busy as almost one of the only places in town open, the waiters made sure the standard of service was just as good as usual. The Thanksgiving dinner was reasonably priced and piping hot on service, although busy we were not rushed at all and enjoyed the day tremendously Would highly recommend!! ”
“ The Old Village Inn is an absolute Ogunquit gem! This is our 10th year doing a girls trip to this amazing beach town, and there's so many restaurants to choose from...but this is an absolute must! We had the pleasure of chatting with one of the new owners Jacob, and it is obvious he has a passion for cultivating an amazing experience for his guests. The cocktails are intentional, fresh and unique, especially the "haunted room #2" that is presented in a fog-filled treasure box! The quality of food and presentation is nothing short of exceptional. Located right in the heart of the charming town, do not walk by what is sure to be a sensational experience. ”
“ Old Village Inn just reopened this weekend after a massive renovation, new ownership & new chef and it was AMAZING. Phenomenal service, beautiful atmosphere and space, and honestly some of the best food I’ve had. Absolutely worth checking out! ”
“ My Wife and I had dinner there last night. A completely new experience as it appears they have new management. We both had the lobster risotto and it was absolutely fantastic. The wait staff was courteous and very charming. We will definitely be back as it is now a must dine at location. ”
